Music Lessons at the Academy!
Several of our students are taking guitar lessons after school and are learning all about the instrument, key chords, and so much more. They are excited and we look forward to their first recital!







Fabulous Fridays
Our students LOVE Fridays when they are engaged in Bible study, learning dance routines, working with the animals through equine therapy, and learning life skills.

Our young men were amazed at the equipment and machinery and the educational opportunities available.


A visit from the USMC!
The United States Marine Corps came to the Academy and spoke about serving our country. The students and teachers also had some fun seeing who was strongest - the winner, of course, the Marines!


Music Lessons
Our students learned about Scottish history and making music with the banjo and mountain and hammered dulcimer.

Hats Off to Our Principal !!
Our students paid a "hat " tribute to our principal, Lorayne Jones, who wears many hats each day!

Field Trip to The Funk Heritage Center
Our students enjoyed an outing to the Funk Heritage Center and learned about the history and culture of Native Americans and early settlers in the Southeast.







Real Life Lessons
April is financial literacy month and our amazing partners at United Community Bank brought personal finances to life as they taught our students about money, saving, and how to wisely manage their finances.



Georgia State Capital Visit
Our students had an amazing civics lesson on a tour of the state capital building.


Christmas Pageant
Our Students produced a beautiful Christmas Pageant with guidance from Pastor Sam and the help of several of our farm animals. “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:10–11, ESV).





Field Trip to the Sequoyah Regional Library
Our students spent an amazing day at the local library leaning about library services that go beyond reading and checking out books.




Science Lab
Blowing bubbles is more than just fun. Our students engage in processes such as observation, experimentation, and investigation as they study science concepts including elasticity, surface tension, chemistry, and light while they blow bubbles.
